The main idea was to transform this stunning, open space with magnificent, celestial ceiling, into set of smaller areas of variety of functions, in a way that will keep its overall character. Thus, all the architectural solutions were carefully chosen, and analyzes were done, in order to achieve optimal solution – the one that will enrich its architecture.

We have put special attention into creating the perfect views for the visitors, by forming paths as well as elements that will frame those views. Given that ceiling with its windows opens towards garden, this certain elevation was equipped with large scale glass wall, which can be easily opened. If so, the inside of the building integrates with nature outside creating a great place for people to enjoy taste of beer, as well as served local food. They can chose upon preference an industrial design of building itself, or rather an open view and closeness to nature. Elevated terrace allows to feel the character of this object – be closer to celestial ceiling and gives general view of corten sculpture structures. It also lets you see every function – exhibition, lab, tasting hall and restaurant.

Because of urban context of this building we have created a campanile made of openwork corten copper, which can be seen from distance and clearly marks place in space – it can be additionally strengthen by night illumination. This vertical accent also define one of the entrances, making it clear for visitors.

General idea of materials used in project is that we wanted to keep the existing, marvelous building with its unique character, and clearly show and distinguish our architectural intervention. Thus, we have used copper as a working material – the one that has understandable contrast, but the same time is well fitted into industrial character. Every new element inside has its own shape, because we wanted to form a sculpture, rather than walls – to achieve the character and impression of machinery that we all can admire from the inside.
